The Transition to Teaching Programme
Schools desperately need more good teachers of science, technology, engineering and maths. If you are interested in the thought of a second career (full or part time) where you have the chance to inspire the next generation, see  http://www.tda.gov.uk/Recruit/adviceandevents/transition_to_teaching.aspx           
This programme has been designed with employers to promote a new career in teaching to high-performing employees who are considering a mid to late career change. The programme targets employees with relevant degrees  who can share their knowledge and experience, and inspire the next generation.
 
 
   For those with a teaching qualification: see   http://www.tda.gov.uk/teachers/onetoonetuition.aspx   .     The 'One to One Tuition Programme' is a Government funded initiative to help children gain more confidence and understanding, particularly in English and maths. It is highly flexible and the tutor decides when and where to give tuition.
