Herefordshire & Glocs Canal Trust
Chief Executive
Herefordshire & Gloucestershire Canal Trust
H&G Canal Trust is rebuilding the long-closed canal between
Hereford and Gloucester as a sustainable community asset
providing economic opportunity and environmental benefit.
H&G CT gained The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service 2016,
the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK,
and international recognition with The Green Apple World Award
for the Dymock partnership project.
H&G CT is now restructuring its management to address
the increasing demands for executive action across the
broad range of restoration and associated projects
and partnerships with other bodies.
In addition to the Council (board of trustees), it is
establishing an executive board which will manage
H&G CT's day-to-day activities on behalf of Council.
The essential first step is to recruit a chief executive
to lead the executive board.
If you are excited by the challenges and rewards
of this voluntary leadership role, it could be for you.
A briefing pack for applicants is available from
Carolyn Pascall at: chiefexecutive@h-g-canal.org.uk
