Action on Elder AbuseUse your skills for a good cause
Action on Elder Abuse (AEA) is a charity that aims to protect and prevent the abuse of older people. We now want to set up a group of volunteers in Lambeth committed to raise awareness about elder abuse, work with older people to recover from abuse, liaise with other older people organisations to provide a point of contact for older people about issues around elder abuse.

We are looking for committee members (Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and Volunteer Coordinator) who can lead the development of this work in the borough.

Are you interested?   If you live in Lambeth and are an experienced administrator  or accountant or have managed people before and
want to give some time to make a difference, join us.

In return, you will make new friends, gain or strengthen your experience in project management, budgeting, communication, community engagement…and more.

Committee meetings are held quarterly in Lambeth.

Training will be provided and travel expenses refunded.

We welcome volunteers from all sections of the community
