Job: Technical Director
Location: Loughborough
A Loughborough based company markets a successful computer energy saving device and the associated onscreen cloud app interface. The product has sold 500,000 units and been redeveloped to extend services for the corporate market.
The company is seeking a Technical Director capable of leading the architecture specification and project management of the further development of the cloud based HQ database system, which keeps the records of users and their energy savings. The system is planned to use the onscreen platform for delivery of other revenue earning services.
The company are looking for someone with a background in delivering web based services systems who can initially manage subcontracted development and then bring the function in-house. This person may initially have a non-executive role pending completion of the current funding round, but will be expected to become full time over the next year.
The package will include an appropriate salary as the revenues grow, in line with other senior executives and the business plan, as well as equity options based on performance. For the right person there is also the option of equity investment within a current equity round offer. This appointment will enable the CEO to withdraw from the management of the software technical development and concentrate on business development and hardware, as well as the considerable international opportunities for the business.
