Gardening, they say is one of the great obsessions of the English; and there are certainly many people all over the country who are indeed obsessed with gardening! So it must have some deep attraction. Whether you have serious plans for your garden or are simply someone who likes pottering, there are countless interests and challenges in a garden.


Gardening organisations

    Royal Horticultural Society - members’ umbrella organisation for gardening                     enthusiasts throughout the country, with show gardens in Surrey                 (Wisley), Devon (Rosemoor) and Yorkshire (Harlow Carr).                     Sponsors annual Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court                     Show.         BBC has a regular series entitled Gardeners World.  
        Most Garden Centres and many Garden suppliers sell books on                     gardening.
