Calligraphy

Being computer literate is an admirable ambition but keyboard skills should not be at the total expense of the ancient art of lettering.     Just occasionally one has to write a letter in one’s own fair hand, and it helps if it is legible.     Calligraphy (from the Greek for  ‘beautiful writing’) and lettering are serious art forms, and a simple hobby can ‘open up a whole world of artistic enjoyment ‘
