Board members for Chichester Greyfriars Housing association

Voluntary/all reasonable expenses paid

Chichester Greyfriars Housing Association (CGHA) provides affordable housing and associated facilities and amenities for older people in need who have a local connection with the Chichester area. We currently own and manage 87 flats and have a proactive approach to the future growth of the association.

During the last year we have appointed a new Chair and several new board members.
We are now keen to enhance our board skills further to build on our successes and maximise the opportunities for further growth of the association.

To complement existing board skills, we are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in the provision of services for older people with knowledge of the voluntary and statutory sectors and those who have networks and connections in the Chichester area. Applicants need to have a passion for our social purpose and a willingness and aptitude to keep up to date with emerging social housing challenges.
The time commitment is approximately five to six early evening meetings a year in Chichester plus training and away days.

This is a great opportunity to utilise and develop your professional skills with a small local association.

For a copy of the Briefing Papers, please email our retained advisor, Hilary Channing, hilary@channinghammond.co.uk or visit www.chichestergreyfriars.org.uk.

Closing date for applications is 9:00am Friday 13 th October 2017.
