I'll never Retire - there's far too much to do

How often have you heard that? And does it make you envious or just sad for the speaker?

If you are lucky enough to have a gift - say painting or writing or green fingers - and your retirement from full time executive life gives you the time you have always wanted to develop your skill, then you are one of the lucky ones, and to be envied. But you can always learn more from others, so use Retirement Reinvented to exchange views with your peers.

If you are like the majority of us who lack any particular skills or projects which we have been aching to spend time on, then use Retirement Reinvented to get some ideas of what new activities you might take up and what sort of new life you can develop.

Why might you feel sorry for the person who says they will never retire? Well, probably only if they intend to continue doing what they have always done. Retirement can be a time for a change of direction and for new experiences - how sad not to take full use of it.

You are entering the youth of your old age - enjoy it!
